Ridley Villas is supported housing that provides help for women who have children, who are living in Newcastle and Gateshead who need support with overcoming issues with drugs or alcohol, or both.
If you need housing advice, if you are at risk of homelessness or you are homeless and have nowhere to stay, please contact the Housing Advice Centre. Staff at the Housing Advice Centre will assess your situation and give you free confidential advice with the aim of helping you to keep your home or assisting you to find one that meets your needs.
We provide advice and assistance on a range of housing problems, including landlord/tenant disputes, housing options, housing benefit and homelessness. Our specialist debt advice team is available to advise you on all financial issues.

The Lawnmowers is a producing theatre-arts company run by and for people with learning difficulties and operating in Gateshead and the surrounding regions. The original actors formed in 1986 as a community group and in 2000, set up and developed The Lawnmowers Independent Theatre Company to try to achieve community cohesion. Magical BubbleSuds CIC was established in April 2020 making bath bombs; quickly moving into a variety of different bath and shower products which are 100% handmade.
Our Contemporary Dance Class is open to young people with learning disabilities who enjoy dance. All you have to do is turn up! Led by a qualified contemporary dance practitioner, beginners contemporary is perfect for those wishing to attend a fun class which will leave you feeling energised, inspired and worked out!

Cowgate Young Theatre Makers is an exciting new drama group for children and young people from Unfolding Theatre and Projects4Change.
The group will use drama, theatre making, movement and creative writing to create and share stories together. Children and young people interested in off-stage roles such as technicians, sound, lighting and set design are also welcome!
The group is open to children and young people aged between 8 and 14 years old.
