Parents on the Ball is a 10 week programme running in partnership with Action for Children and the Falcons Community Foundation.
The aim of the course is to promote healthy life choices families and to help them gain confidence in their parenting role in a fun and interactive way. They will gain some knowledge around parenting and take part in some physical activities and games that they can share at home with their children.

Curious Youth Arts Group was established to create a safe space where LGBTQIA+ and/or gender non-conforming young people aged 11-15 year old feel supported and comfortable to connect with one another whilst exploring their creativity.
The group is the perfect place to meet new friends, try out new art forms with guest artists and take part in fun creative activities!
Guided by Group Leader, Zoe Murtagh, we meet once a month to catch-up with each other, whilst taking part in fun creative activities and be inspired by exploring different art-forms with guest artists!
A therapeutic service which aims to reduce the impact of abusive or traumatic experiences on children, young people and families. The Wellness Recovery Project delivers 1-2-1 counselling and therapeutic support for women, children and young people who have been witness to and victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence, or who may have suffered from bereavement and loss.
Baby massage is designed to help strengthen baby - parent communication, boost self esteem and confidence in parenting, enhance understanding of baby development relax parent and baby, encourage a deeper sleep for baby, relive wind, colic and constipation and develop muscle tone and co-ordination. The course (suitable from birth) consists of five one hour classes, run over five consecutive weeks. During the course you will be taught a full body massage routine and a short routine to help with colic. there will be time for questions and a chance to share experiences.

Masquer-Aid is a programme for young people aged 11-25 who have recently found out they are neurodivergent or are waiting for a diagnosis. They will take part in a 12-week programme where they learn about what it means to be neurodivergent and talk about shared experiences.

Safe for Life Course beginning 17 April 2024 12.30pm-2.30pm @ West End Women and Girls Centre, crèche spaces are available for children.

Our Community Cancer Champions really make a difference!
By talking to their friends, families, groups and workplaces, they help spread the word about the importance of screening and how to spot signs and symptoms of cancer. This free Cancer Champion training is delivered over 2 x two hour sessions face to face or remotely via Zoom. Come along and join us at our coffee morning and chat with other parents.
This is open to Newcastle parents/carers of children and young people with additional needs.
Our FREE junior sessions are a safe space for children aged between 5-11 years to come and socialise, play freely, learn about the world around them and take part in activities like;
- arts and crafts
- cooking
- gardening
- group games
- sports
The sessions are led by the children, they choose what they would like to do in their youth clubs and plan their activities. Snacks and drinks are available in all sessions.
