NE1 CAN are seeking a small cohort of keen students to share a day’s work experience and career insight activity with us at The Great Run Company. Responsible for our much
loved Great North Run and a large annual calendar of UK-wide mass participation sporting events, careers include filming, marketing, operations, logistics, HR, health & safety and lots more.

NE1 CAN are seeking a small cohort of keen students to share a day’s work experience with us as we visit several city centre hotels ncluding The Maldron and The Crowne Plaza. Exploring how product lines and services differ at different venues, we will explore the variety of job roles this fast-paced industry offers. Including F&B, housekeeping, conference and banqueting, management and others, this is a great one-stop-shop for anyone interested in pursuing a career in hospitality.
This research project is specifically looking at sexual harassment on public transport in the North-East of England.
As part of the SEND Celebration Events in June and July 2024, a series of pre-recorded webinars on subjects of interest to Parent and Carers as well as Children and Young People will be shared on this page.
