We are a local registered charity providing group transport services for the elderly, disabled, youth and community groups. Most of our 16 seat minibuses have accessible lifts and wheelchair friendly interiors. Modern, wheelchair accessible minibuses available from all depots.

We also deliver a furniture re-use and recycling service.

Unlike other weekly payment stores, Fair For You do not penalise customers who choose to repay their loan early or charge expensive missed payment fees. We care for children and young adults with progressive, life shortening conditions from across the North East.

Our team of skilled staff provide residential short breaks to local families. Up to six children and young adults can stay at any one time in our relaxed, home-from-home environment.

Children from birth to 18 can benefit from short breaks here. Teenagers benefit from their own living area – complete with games consoles, wide screen TV and PC’s.

We also care for young adults aged 18- 25 in designated, age-appropriate facilities.

Free advice and assistance for anyone affected by leukaemia, lymphoma or any malignant blood disorder including patients, carers and family. A Specialist service for people who's lives are affected by someone else's alcohol or drug use. PROPS can offer one to one work, peer support groups, and training around substance misuse. They also offer carer and family training, respite breaks and an emergency out of hours telephone helpline. PROPS also work with young people 11+ who have been impacted by someone else’s drug or alcohol misuse.

The Incredible Years® evidence based parenting programs focus on strengthening parenting competencies and fostering parent involvement in children’s school experiences, to promote children’s academic, social  and emotional skills and reduce conduct problems. The parenting programs are grouped according to age: babies (0-12 months), toddlers (1-3 years) and preschoolers (3-6 years)

Our One to One counselling service helps you (as long as you are aged 9 to 25 years old) with your mental health issues. Our friendly counsellors are expertly trained which means we can help you by using a variety of therapy techniques. Whatever the issues affecting your life we are here to help. This includes depression, anxiety, bullying, self-harming, loss and bereavement.

Samaritans of Tyneside have been in Newcastle-upon-Tyne since 1965 serving the local communities of Newcastle, Gateshead and south-west Northumberland. Now based at 15 Portland Terrace, Jesmond, NE2 1QQ, we are near Jesmond Metro Station and on the B1600. Unfortunately, we are unable to see face to face callers at the Branch right now, but our volunteers are still going in every day to answer the telephone and reply to emails.

Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity exists to grant the wishes of children who are living with serious or life-threatening illnesses between the ages of 3-18 who live in the United Kingdom.

Our dedicated wish team responds to all wish applications within two weeks. We do not operate a waiting list, but give every wish our immediate attention.

Mentoring service for young people prioritising asylum seekers & refugees aged 16-25 living in Newcastle & surrounding area. The project offers young people a one-to-one mentoring relationship matched with volunteer mentors, which is managed & supervised by staff. It is free and travel and basic refreshment costs are reimbursed.
