Benton Park Primary school is your school. Whether a pupil, a parent, a grandparent, a carer, a friend, a colleague or a visitor; here regularly or not, I want you to feel welcome. And as a pupil, I want you to feel not only welcome, but happy, safe and included in our school.


We provide after school support for Primary aged students which revolve around different degree subjects students may not of had the chance to learn about before (e.g chemistry, Ancient Civilisations) This also covers maths and English support. For Secondary school students, we provide 1-1 support, as well as free access to chromebooks, free printing, and resources such as revision guides. We have a team of staff and volunteers with different subject specialties.
In April 2022, Havannah First School was created when Broadway East First School relocated to Newcastle Great Park and changed its name to reflect the new location. This move has been planned for a long time and we are delighted to now be in our wonderful, state of the art brand new school and grounds. We are still part of the Gosforth Schools' Trust and are part of the Gosforth three tier Pyramid.

Ridley Villas is supported housing that provides help for women who have children, who are living in Newcastle and Gateshead who need support with overcoming issues with drugs or alcohol, or both.

Staff at the Housing Advice Centre will assess your situation and give you free confidential advice with the aim of helping you to keep your home or assisting you to find one that meets your needs.
Action on Smoking and Health (ASH) was established in 1971 (20 January) by the Royal College of Physicians. It is a campaigning public health charity that works to eliminate the harm caused by tobacco. We do not attack smokers or condemn smoking. The organisation is headed by the Chief Executive, Deborah Arnott, and governed by a Board of Trustees. The Duke of Gloucester is our patron.
While we aim to be innovative and agenda setting in our work, our policies are always evidence based and follow a dual approach:
A Specialist service for people who's lives are affected by someone else's alcohol or drug use. PROPS can offer one to one work, peer support groups, and training around substance misuse. They also offer carer and family training, respite breaks and an emergency out of hours telephone helpline. PROPS also work with young people 11+ who have been impacted by someone else’s drug or alcohol misuse.

MHM was established 30 years ago by families and carers in the North East to provide support and care for people they loved with mental health problems.
Today we have grown into a major national organisation supporting people with learning disabilities, drug and alcohol and other problems, as well as our core client group of people with mental health needs, across the UK through a range of evidence based and innovative services.

Dear Albert is a social enterprise which specialises in peer mentoring and making recovery more visible by bringing together existing resources. We have close links with peer support fellowships such as Smart Recovery, NA, AA and work in close collaboration with statutory funded drug and alcohol agencies, private rehabs, local authorities and substance misuse charities.
We run a free service in Newcastle to assist people who suffer from alcoholism and drug addiction. Our 24/7 helpline allows people to phone and chat with our team of addiction counsellors regarding their own sobriety or a loved one in need of help.
Newcastle Treatment and Recovery is a dedicated service for anyone in Newcastle experiencing problems with drugs and alcohol. We are here to help you get well and stay well. We believe recovery from addiction and substance misuse is possible for everyone, and we’re here to help you achieve it. Our aim is to make recovery a reality in Newcastle – whether you’re dealing with problematic drug or alcohol use or helping support others that are.
Streetwise provide a range of health and wellbeing support services for young people aged 11 - 25 year olds.
Young people aged 13-25 can access the full range of contraception, sexual health, C-card (free condoms), Chlamydia testing, pregnancy testing. Workers offer support around wider issues such as relationships, drugs, alcohol and any other issues facing young people. We will signpost on to other services where appropriate.
We have a counselling and mental health service offering support around mental health and well-being for young people aged 11-25.

A small specialist social work team who undertake assessments for suitability for residential rehabilitation for adults living in Newcastle. If you wish to be considered for residential rehabilitation you need to be engaged in treatment with NTaR and you can discuss this further with your keyworker within the service.
We provide a forum for service users and carers at George Street Social in Newcastle. The forum is an opportunity to chat and to raise any issues that you may have. It also provides a supportive place for peer led activities, training, volunteer opportunities, advocacy, and mentoring.
