Newcastle United Foundation are recruiting participants for the upcoming 12th man programmes in Newcastle and North Tyneside. Learn top tips and try new activities to help you get fit, lose weight and feel better.
For young people aged 15-25 with additional needs. There is lots of arts and crafts and other activities.
Our FREE inters sessions are a safe space for young people aged between 11-13 years to come and socialise, learn about the world around them and take part in activities like;
- arts and crafts
- cooking
- gardening
- group games
- sports
The sessions are led by the young people, they choose what they would like to do in their youth clubs and plan their activities. Snacks and drinks are available in all sessions.
A registration form must be filled in for each young person.
Hat-Trick offers a variety of multi-sports delivered on estates in Newcastle upon Tyne. These include football, dodgeball, cricket, basketball, rugby, tennis and many more.
All sessions are free of charge and there is no referral required or waiting list.

The Women’s Art Group is a friendly space for women who would like to:
• learn new skills
• develop their confidence
• meet other women in the community
• make friends
We are interested in all sorts of art. During school holidays we run family activity sessions.
The group is run by artist Louise Underwood and family practitioner Christina Richardson on behalf of New Writing North and Action for
Children.

'What's On - Multi-Sports Sessions'
‘Springbank Pavilion’ - is a free nature-inspired arts and wellbeing programme and is part of a brand-new partnership between Urban Green Newcastle and The Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and kindly supported by Newcastle Hospitals Charity, LGA Foundation, the Community Foundation and Green Recovery Challenge Fund.
Weekend Play at Nunsmoor Centre
Arts and crafts, outdoor games, board games, junk music, wire works, science buddies and dance city.
Under 8s must be accompanied by an adult, over 8s can attend without an adult. Families welcome!

For adults 18+ - all abilities welcome. The sessions are aimed at young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
The first 20 participants will receive free tickets to the NUFC womens game at St James in November.!

Northbourne Youth Initiative was set up in 2000 by local residents and parents to address a lack of opportunities and facilities for children and young people on the Northbourne Estate. Being based in an end terrace house on the estate we have always had a presence in the local community and are embedded in the local area. In 2010 the organisation received charity status. Our focus has not changed we are still a local charity working with those who need us most.

Newburn Activity Centre is a registered non profit charity, ran by a local community trust. The centre is located on the outskirts of Newcastle about 6 miles from the city centre. We aim to provide a wide variety of activities at an affordable price to the community.
The Bostey is a well-connected project in Walker and an established member of the Walker Workers group. They play a leading role in planning and developing collaborative projects with other partners in the East End of the City. Their services are aimed at local families, children, and young people. The team deliver youth sessions over 5 days per week as the demand for our services have increased.
