Ways to Wellness is a service for people in the west of Newcastle whose daily lives are affected by certain long-term health conditions. GPs and their primary care teams use social prescribing to refer patients to the service. Ways to Wellness adds to and complements the medical support that people receive, to help them feel more confident to manage their long-term conditions and make positive lifestyle choices.

Who is Wizzybug designed for?
Newcastle Vision Support, formerly Newcastle Society for Blind People, was first established in 1867 and has been supporting visually impaired and blind people in Newcastle for 150 years.
We work closely with other organisations to ensure that the people of Newcastle with sight loss benefit from our combined skills and knowledge.
Moving On Asthma has been developed by the Respiratory Research Team at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.
As a team, we are passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with asthma and this resource is designed to both support clinicians in adolescent health and equip young people with self-management skills as they prepare for the move to adult care.
The Tree House Early Years Centre provides a range of Educational, Social, Therapeutic and Health activities / services for children aged 0-5 with SEND, and their families.

Pathways 4 All is a parent-led charity, providing leisure services for children and young people with disabilities/ additional needs (0-25 years old). Our primary service is a specialist play and activity provision, the Tim Lamb Centre (in the grounds of the Rising Sun County Park, Benton). Our centre is open to families from across the North East region.
West End Women and Girls Centre is the first and only open access, community based women and girls centre in Newcastle, we aim to build the power of women and girls, who have been and continue to be disenfranchised. We seek to drive positive change in the world, our community and in women and girls lives.
We do this through group work where women and girls have the opportunity to meet, have fun, learn skills, look at issues relevant their lives and generally build confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

Beacon Films CIC is a multi-award winning training and production organisation for filmmakers with learning disabilities, autism and additional needs.
For young people (aged 6 - 19) with no experience of filmmaking, Beacon Films runs a BFI Film Academy from November - February each year, during which young people learn all about filmmaking by creating and starring in their own short film. Places are FREE but limited, so contact us early to avoid disappointment!

A travelling multi-sensory resource for children with disabilities, their families and friends. Activities include music, storytelling and creative play. Sensory Spaces appears at festivals and family events in the region.
Sensory Spaces was set up to address the needs of all children at local events and to encourage families to attend. The aim is to provide a safe, relaxing space where children can listen to music and stories, explore their creativity, dress up, play and have fun.

The FAB (Fantastic and Brilliant) Group is a group of young people aged 11 to 25 who have SEND. Every month, the FAB Group come together to make friends, share experiences and exchange insights into support for young people with SEND in the local area and beyond.
