Community Counselling is a FREE service managed by NCAT in partnership with Newcastle College. This service provides support to people who are currently facing personal difficulties including; Depression, Anxiety, Low self-esteem, Bereavement, family issues, domestic violence, suicide and many others. This service is for Men, Woman and children.
We don’t just provide footwear at Grassboots. Over the last few months we’ve given out numerous items of baby clothing, pushchairs, baths, cots and accessories to families and individuals who are really struggling.

Are you between the ages of 16 and 25? Do you live, work, or study in Newcastle? We’re currently recruiting Young Healthwatch Volunteers aged 16 to 25 to join our Youthwatch Project.
Here's what Youthwatch Project is all about:
The Owl Tree Childrens Café CIC is a parent support group offering a safe, affordable and accessible space for parents and children up to the age of 7 years. We offer a range of activities and classes in our building, including a sensory room. At the heart of our building is our themed play café, offering weekly themed activities, songs, crafts and sensory play.

School Outreach (ages 9-14 years)
Coming to a school near you!
Our Regional Engagement Team offer specially designed activities to meet your school’s needs. Our focus is to inspire young people through fun-filled activities concentrating on teamwork and communication to build their confidence. Our 1-2 hour sessions include practical leadership & team building tasks for groups of up to 30 students.

Confidential support and information in many languages for female survivors of domestic abuse on a range of issues such as legal, housing, money and children.

A free, fast emergency injunction service for survivors of domestic abuse regardless of their financial circumstances, race, gender or sexual orientation.
Our award-winning free service allows anyone who has recently experienced or been threatened with domestic abuse or violence to apply for an emergency court injunction.
AVA (Against Violence and Abuse) offer training on gender based violence and abuse, with particular expertise in children and young people and multiple disadvantage.
