JET is a registered charity who work in and around Tyne & Wear to support those with English as a second language and from an ethnic background. This includes those from the settled community with English as their first language, as well as refugees and asylum seekers, EU migrants and third country nationals, many who have come to the UK through marriage . This course is ideal for you whether you have been out of work for a while or recently out of work and would like support to move into employment, self-employment or further training.
Through this 5-week course, you will be supported to increase confidence & motivation and to think about & put a plan in place to help you to move forward and take your next steps.

ELSE is a programme unique to JET, which not only offers indepth ESOL classes around specific employment sectors but is also supported by local employers and organisations with work placement and experience opportunities.

We join the National Trust at Seaton Delaval

We support families from Newcastle upon Tyne who have children with additional needs. Parents from surrounding areas are welcome to join our FB group, but some of the information may be for Newcastle carers only.
We are parent/carers ourselves and enjoy sharing information to help you and your family. We can help you with grant application forms, refer you to other organisations such as Welfare Rights who will help you with DLA forms or to Get Connected to help your child into inclusive suitable activities.
