Out of School Clubs / Holiday Clubs provide childcare for school age children at times when schools are not open. They offer a range of activities, including drama, music, arts and crafts, sport, outings and homework support outside of school hours.

They can operate before school in the mornings as breakfast clubs, from the end of the school day and at the end of the working day as After School Clubs. They also may run throughout the school holidays as Holiday Clubs, or a combination of all three. They typically cater for children aged four to fifteen.
