Organisations who can provide advice

Getting the right advice and support can be very difficult. In this section, you can find organisations who can offer advice. 

There are some key organisations who provide advice and support in Newcastle:

Newcastle Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice and Support Service provide information, advice and support at any stage of a child or young person’s education. This includes those who are in the process of getting an Education Health and Care Plan.

Family Advice and Support at Skills for People provides information, advice, support and training for parent/carers who have children/young people with special needs or a disability aged 0-25 years. Family Advice Workers can give practical support around issues relating to your child/young person, working across all agencies including education, social care, health, benefits, leisure and housing.
