Our summer programme is for both primary school and high school children. The activities we provide meet the needs of children from age 5-16. We provide a range of outdoor activities - trips to interesting and educational places. We have games and sports - air hockey, table tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, football. Our hot meals are very popular; hot meals served with fruits, fruit juice and vegetables and unlimited supply of water.

Newcastle Bridges School is a multi-site alternative provision academy within Prosper Learning Trust which provides education to pupils from ages 2-19. NBS predominantly serves children in the city of Newcastle but also those children and young people referred into hospital or mental health provisions from regional and national services, and some young people from outside of the authority. The school provides excellent educational opportunities to pupils whose education has been interrupted by mental or physical ill-health, school phobia.

The Newcastle Careers and Guidance Team offers impartial and confidential careers information, advice and support to young people up to the age of 19 without an Education Health and Care Plan (EHC plan) if they live in Newcastle or attend a Newcastle school. (Please note, young people with an EHC plan are supported by their SEN caseworker)

Cricket club for adults and juniors from 7+ years old.
We are a warm and welcoming club who are always looking for new members. We provide two Saturday XI's playing in the Northumberland and Tyneside Cricket League. Our 3rd XI play midweek cricket in the Northumberland League C Division and we also boast one midweek team in the North East Mid-Week Cricket League.

Westgate Community College provides a wide range of community education courses. Each year we provide courses across around 40 subjects involving 700 part-time students.

Conveniently located on our Rye Hill campus, Newcastle College Day Nursery offers stimulating, safe and nurturing day care.
Places are available now for all children aged 0 to 5 with sessions between 8:15am and 5:15pm from Monday to Friday.
Our highly qualified and motivated staff will educate and care for your child in our lovely home from home environment which boasts an extensive outdoor play area and sensory garden.
Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are provided as well as healthy fruit snacks and drinks throughout the day.
Community Counselling is a FREE service managed by NCAT in partnership with Newcastle College. This service provides support to people who are currently facing personal difficulties including; Depression, Anxiety, Low self-esteem, Bereavement, family issues, domestic violence, suicide and many others. This service is for Men, Woman and children.

We are based at Richardson Unit, Leazes Wing, Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4LP. Our working hours are 24 hours, 7 days a week.
We can offer bespoke training and education for wards and groups of clinicians.


Our HAF camps at Kingston Park Stadium are for kids age 6-12 years old who want to have lots of fun over the summer holidays. Our community coaching team have lots of fun games, quizzes, challenges, indoor and outdoor activities to keep your kids entertained all day. Each day, kids will get free healthy snacks and drinks as well as a hot meal at lunch.

Newcastle School for Boys is the north east region’s only independent school providing education for boys only aged 3 to 18.
