SportNE Activity Camps is an Ofsted Registered Childcare which provides multi sports activities alongside crafts and challenges for 3-11 year olds.
Led by well qualified enthusiastic staff offering children the chance to learn new skills, try out new activities and build confidence and friendship through our structured activities. The camps run in all school holidays.

The Bostey is a well-connected project in Walker and an established member of the Walker Workers group. They play a leading role in planning and developing collaborative projects with other partners in the East End of the City. Their services are aimed at local families, children, and young people. The team deliver youth sessions over 5 days per week as the demand for our services have increased.

St Charles’ is a 210 place single form entry Roman Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary school with a 52 full/part time place Nursery.

We have a well resourced main room which houses all our resources ie small world toys, building blocks, large/ small cars, garages, castles, dolls houses, chalk boards, a large range of arts and crafts material and equipment, jigsaws for varying ages and abilities, musical instruments, home corner, library area, computer area and changing area.

At St Gabriels we promote learning through play. We feel it is important for children of all ages to be encouraged to explore and develop their own thinking. Developing an inquisitive mind will in turn enable children to become problem solvers to discover and learn at their own pace.

We are a nursery located in Gosforth on Back West Avenue. The nursery has been purpose built into a 137 place nursery offering care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.


Free play where children choose from several activities. Healthy snack time. Song time. Physical activity time. Story time. Circle time. Indoor and outdoor play. Computer room. Gardening.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday open 9am until 3pm, and children bring a pack lunch.

St. John Vianney Catholic Primary School was opened in 1975. The school serves the Catholic community of St. John Vianney Parish.
