Rix Wiki

What is a 'Wiki'?

A “Wiki” is a simple and secure online platform which our children and young people and their families can use to build up information about them. Wiki’s are easily personalised with text, pictures and videos as well as links to help children and young people and their families/carers to “tell their story” once.

A personalised Wiki can be shared with professionals or anyone who the children, young person or their family chooses, so they are a powerful tool to ensure that their voice is heard, and their needs understood.

Professionals will be able to better understand how they can support children and young people to reach their goals and aspirations.

Feedback from families who have been using Rix Wiki

'I love it! It is really helpful as my daughter goes to different environments e.g., home, hospice and school. The hospice have found it really useful. It is still a work in progress but we already really value it'
