Kenton Youth Project is dedicated to meeting the needs and aspirations of young people in Kenton. With a strong foundation of experience and community relationships developed over 4 years, we have engaged in consultations with the young people and key stakeholders in the community, identifying crucial areas of support and activities that resonate with young people.
We provide activities for young people 8-19 years in and around Elwick. We offer a wide range of developmental activities and lots of fun and adventure. Activities are different each week. For our older Seniors (age 13 - 19 years) we offer 3 Duke of Edinburgh drop-in sessions, here you can complete your award with us or just come in and hang out with your friends.
We provide specialised practical, emotional and social support for asylum seeking and refugee children, families and young people.
Our aim is to provide a specialised and trauma informed service that can be accessed by families or by individual young people.
Project for young people to create a safe, relaxing space to grow their own food and an area to learn about the outdoors.
