Turtle Childcare ltd is based in Blakelaw ne5. We are committed to ensuring your child is happy, safe and comfortable during their time here.
We have a lovely garden to promote daily exercise and teach the children about nature and three large play rooms. The children actively care for the rabbit and the guineapigs by feeding and playing with them.
We have a huge variety of educational toys in the setting and a very cosy atmosphere to ensure your child can still sleep when they would normally at home.
Registered with Ofsted with full/part time vacancies available. Rated good in March 2017.

I provide a large playroom with a range of toys and activities for all ages and stages of development. I also have a large garden with a selection of outdoor toys for children to play with.
At my setting, children can choose from a range of activities including play-dough, dressing up, arts and crafts, small world play, baking and much more.
We go on outings every day to various places including parks, toddler groups, softplay, museums and the beach.

I am an Osfted registered childminder (with a 'Good' Rating from Ofsted May 2019).
I currently have availability for up to 2 children aged 0-5 from 7.30am - 6pm.
I am home based in Gosforth and provide healthy home cooked meals and snacks for the children. I drive and have a nice sized home with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for play. I regularly take trips out to softplay, toddler groups, parks and the beach (weather permitting).
I have 2 children of my own and already pick up from St. Charles RC Primary School in Gosforth at 3.15pm.
Facilities:
- large, fully enclosed front and back gardens
- outdoor play equipment including climbing frame, swings, play house and slides as well as equipment suitable for early years including cars, smaller slides, swings and sand/water play area
- purpose built play room, used only for childminding purposes and containing a variety of toys and games from ages 0-12 as well as a quiet area for reading. Our reading area also has a wide variety of educational posters

The Nystagmus Network is a registered charity in England and Wales supporting people living with nystagmus. Nystagmus is a complex eye condition, characterised by involuntary movements of the eye. The eyes appear to wobble or flicker from side to side, up and down or round and round. Nystagmus causes impaired vision, affecting the ability to focus, speed and depth perception and facial recognition. At least 1 in 1,000 people are born with nystagmus and many more acquire the condition later in life.
