Each session contains a mixture of activities, sports, cooking, arts and crafts, challenging games. Each session always has mixed ability activities to suit the needs of the children and young people. We also work with local artists to provide more enriching activities for everyone to engage within.

We would like to introduce a new project for you all to join in as one community. #JOURNEY (This is a group for adults)
We have been awarded funding from "The Heritage Lottery Fund". This funding will enable us to continue the legacy of Fr Michael Conaty, keep his memories alive and remind us all of what he achieved within the Walker community from 1969.
The project will work through three different stages,

Our Sexual Health Drop in is moving!
From Monday 4th March our project workers and nurses will be available at:
Byker Sands Family Centre, 19 Raby Cross, Newcastle, NE6 2FF
2:30pm - 5:30pm
To celebrate the new location of the sexual health drop-in at Byker, they are holding a Launch Party at Byker Sands Family Centre on Monday 4th March, 2.30 pm – 5.30pm.

Choices College - a work experience pathway for students with learning difficulties/disabilities or ASD
Choices College is a supported internship programme for people with learning disabilities, difficulties or autism (LDDA). NHS Health Education England, support NHS Trusts to deliver the programme nationally. The focus is ‘work readiness’ and matching skills to employment. We have 16 NHS hosts across the country.

Professional and Amateur Boxing Gym in Newcastle. We cater for beginners & experienced boxers, of all ages and fitness
8-11 years old: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 5pm.
12 years and over: Monday, Wednesday Friday 6pm
12 years & over: Tuesday and Thursday 5pm
£3 a session
The following sessions are free,
Tuesday and Thursday 10am - 12pm
Tuesday and Thursday 3pm - 5pm
Saturday 10am - 12pm
Multi sports holiday club including Centre functional movements, dodge ball, football, tag games plus many more.
