Calling all Young Healthwatch Newcastle Volunteers!
Are you between the ages of 16 and 25? Do you live, work, or study in Newcastle? We’re currently recruiting Young Healthwatch Volunteers aged 16 to 25 to join our Youthwatch Project.

Stopping smoking is one of the best things you can do for you and your baby. Quitting is most successful with the right advice and support. So pop in for a chat and find out what the best options are for you.
Newcastle Libraries welcomes you to be a part of our Knit and Natter network
- Volunteer to lead a library knitting group. Share your skills and get people chatting as we knit items for charity. Email: information@newcastle.gov.uk if you'd like to help.
- Donate yarn and needles to a good cause. Drop-off at any Newcastle Libraries branch.
- Join a knit and natter group. Everyone is welcome and we have supplies you can use

Why not join with us in Pottery Bank's Green space, to learn new skills, by creating items using recycled wood and other products for our sensory garden, allotment and outdoor spaces.
You will learn how to use:
Power drills, sanding tools, hand saws and much more.
So come along and join in!

Community Budgeting Support & Advice - Drop In
Mondays 10am -1pm
Get support with budgeting, household bills and accessing online accounts.
Referrals can be made for more formal debt advice and debt management.

Wellness checks: Blood sugar, Heart rhythm
Health coaching: Weekly weigh and measure, motivation and support to eat well and move more, tools and techniques to manage stress
Families can enjoy thrilling live shows, exciting experiments, interactive exhibits and hands-on making activities.
Plus! Enjoy thrilling, interactive exhibits in Wow Zone, including the 6-metre-tall ‘Big Machine’! Other highlights include Space Zone, complete with a replica of part of the International Space Station and Play Zone for under-7s.

The Decider Skills course looks at ‘big emotions’ and how to deal with them.
It helps children, young people and adults learn to recognize these ‘big emotions’ and gives them ways to manage these thoughts, feelings and behaviors in a positive way.

The Royal National Institute of Blind People is the UK's sight loss charity. They offer practical and emotional support to blind and partially sighted people, their families and carers. They raise awareness of the experiences of blind and partially sighted people and campaign for change to make our society more accessible for all. They want to change our world so there are no barriers to people with sight loss.
Pop into our Monday group at the Bostey and have a cup of tea and a chat. All parents and community members are welcome. For ages 16+. Term time only.
