National helpline offering support to victims of forced marriage and honour based abuse. Honour crimes are not determined by age, faith, gender or sexuality, and Karma Nirvana work with all victims.
Free, anonymous dedicated FGM helpline for anyone worried a child is at risk of or has already had FGM.
The National FGM Centre is a partnership between Barnardo’s and the Local Government Association. It was established in 2015 to achieve change in the provision of services for children and their families who are affected by FGM. In 2017, the focus of their work was extended to include Breast Ironing/Flattening and Child Abuse Linked to Faith or Belief. Their website includes a knowledge hub with information, guidance and resources for practitioners and information about training.
Safe for Life Course beginning 17 April 2024 12.30pm-2.30pm @ West End Women and Girls Centre, crèche spaces are available for children.
A referral can be made for anyone who identifies as a woman who has experienced Domestic Abuse.

Puppet express is a trauma-informed therapeutic puppetry and play experience aimed at younger children (4-7 years). Puppet play allows participants the chance to externalise their experiences, feelings or dilemmas within the context of safe, warm relationships. 21 Feb, 22 Feb, 23 Feb, 24 Feb 1-4pm
An independent legal support service to help protect women against domestic abuse. A network of domestic abuse experts provide advice, support and guidance to support women to protect themselves from violence, gain court orders, access legal aid and navigate court processes.
The Peer Educators deliver preventative domestic abuse and healthy relationship workshops in schools, colleges, youth groups, children’s homes and any setting where young women are present.
A confidential helpline, email and webchat service for domestic abuse perpetrators and those supporting them. They support men and women who are using abuse in same-sex or heterosexual relationships.

AVA (Against Violence and Abuse) offer training on gender based violence and abuse, with particular expertise in children and young people and multiple disadvantage.
Local charity Children North East are running the SAFE programme, which offers counselling to victims of sexual abuse aged 5 to 18 (
Make a Change is a free programme for anyone over 18 in Newcastle who is concerned that they might be hurting, scaring or trying to control their partner, and wants help to change their behaviour.
People can join our group programme (or in some cases work with us one-to-one) to work on understanding behaviour in relationships, and get support to make positive changes for you, your partner or ex-partner, and your children (if you have any).
The garden works with nature to create a great place for people and wildlife to enjoy. The garden is about our community, whether in Scotswood and Benwell or the wider area, and we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to get involved in our work. This can be as a visitor to the garden, as a member of our volunteer team, or as a participant in one of our events. We welcome you to visit and enjoy the fruits of our labours.

Welcome to Circus Central, Newcastle's finest Circus Arts hub! We bring people of all ages and abilities together to have fun, develop skills, perform, and gain qualifications. At Circus Central, you become part of a thriving community. We offer something for everyone from the curious beginner to the die-hard professional! We also offer provision for schools, community organisations and events.
We're a circus school! You can learn to fly in the air on a trapeze, silks or aerial hoops, do acrobatics, walk on stilts, ride a unicycle, juggle, hula hoop, and more.
Tyneside Outdoors (TO) provides out-of-doors fun activities in and around Tyneside for young people aged 11 - 16 years old. We meet each week in local parks, playing a range of games and activities and also take part in regular trips and activities at other local places, such as the beach or other countryside spaces. We also provide bike activities such as BMX, Mountain Biking and bike repair activities.
