Our Regional Engagement Team offer specially designed activities to meet your school’s needs. Our focus is to inspire young people through fun-filled activities concentrating on teamwork and communication to build their confidence. Our 1-2 hour sessions include practical leadership & team building tasks for groups of up to 30 students.

It was developed by Autistica and King's College London.  Adults with autism were consulted throughout the development of the app.

Free, safe, confidential support for young people

Children and young people in Newcastle and Gateshead can now get help from mental health counsellors using a free online service supported by the NHS.

Kooth.com is an award-winning online counselling and support service which is now available to all young people in Newcastle and Gateshead aged 11-18 years.

West End Women and Girls Centre is the first and only open access, community based women and girls centre in Newcastle, we aim to build the power of women and girls, who have been and continue to be disenfranchised. Tyneside Women’s Health was established in 1985 with the key aim of helping women to improve their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Ridley Villas is supported housing that provides help for women who have children, who are living in Newcastle and Gateshead who need support with overcoming issues with drugs or alcohol, or both.   

Kinship is the leading kinship care charity in England and Wales. We are here for all kinship carers – the grandparents and siblings, the aunts, uncles, and family friends who step up to raise children when their parents aren’t able to.
