Who is Wizzybug designed for?
Newcastle Vision Support, formerly Newcastle Society for Blind People, was first established in 1867 and has been supporting visually impaired and blind people in Newcastle for 150 years.
We work closely with other organisations to ensure that the people of Newcastle with sight loss benefit from our combined skills and knowledge.
Moving On Asthma has been developed by the Respiratory Research Team at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.
As a team, we are passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with asthma and this resource is designed to both support clinicians in adolescent health and equip young people with self-management skills as they prepare for the move to adult care.

Scotswood Village Nursery is a setting based in the West End of Newcastle, which provides high quality care and early education for children aged 2-4 years.
At St Gabriels we promote learning through play. We feel it is important for children of all ages to be encouraged to explore and develop their own thinking. Developing an inquisitive mind will in turn enable children to become problem solvers to discover and learn at their own pace.
Activities within the nursery are planned with this in mind and the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.

One Nation Childcare is a thriving provision for 2 - 5 years olds, that is a "home away from home" for your child. We understand that children develop in their learning when they are given the necessary support, and when they feel emotionally secure. We have a fully equipped wet room. Children can attend for 11 hours per week all year around for the FEYE only as well as children who meet the criteria for the 2 year offer (again offered over 11 hours each week). We offer the 30 hours funding and are flexible in our approach to this, tailoring sessions to suit your needs where we can. We work alongside other professionals to offer the best support to the whole family as well as the child, such as, speech and language, family support, health visitors, SENTASS team and community nursery nurses.
The Cedars Nursery was first opened in 2002, and in that time we have created a warm and welcoming environment where our children can thrive and be enthusiastic about their own learning and development.
We are a large Victorian mansion which is set in its own grounds, we are very fortunate to have extensive fully enclosed, safe and secure, outdoor, space which includes a nature trail, large wooded area and well-kept lawns where the children can learn about the natural environment and enjoy activities on a larger scale which are better suited for the outdoors.
