Nuture and Nature - Our Unique Nursery
West Newcastle Academy Nursery provides space and time for children to develop a deeper way of learning.
By exploring learning in small groups and in many different contexts we will ensure every child has many opportunities to learn in ways that best match their interests and abilities.
They are encouraged to be curious, to ask questions and to learn from one another.
Please contact the school office for more information and to make an appointment to look at our unique setting.

At Westerhope Primary School we believe that all our children are special and unique. We provide an environment which is safe, secure and where individuals treat each other and their property with respect. We work as a whole school team to provide a creative, stimulating and engaging curriculum for all our children. We are all evaluating our achievements and looking for ways in which we can move forward in our learning.
We give all our children the opportunity to fulfil their potential and reach for the stars through learning.
We offer a football themed fun day. Different games and various elements of coaching. The most important thing to us is a fun approach and helping people make new friends.
This is a warm, caring and kind place to be because:
- we have a quiet/calm space for young people to chill out in
- we offer small group work activities
- parents/carers can contact staff to discuss individual needs
- parents/carers or young people can pre-visit/watch a walk through video

Early Years at Westfield has a welcoming and creative atmosphere and there is a constant buzz of purposeful activity. We aim to broaden the children's experience, excite their curiosity, encourage their individuality and provide opportunities for them to develop happily in all areas.
A parent and toddler group is a welcoming and friendly group of adults. This includes mothers, fathers, childminders or carers.
They all come together in their own community with their children who are under the age of 5.
Parent and toddler groups offer play opportunities for children from birth to 5 year old, as well as an opportunity to mix with others. They also offer support to adults and a break from the normal routines of the day.
Booking maybe required at some groups.

We seek to raise aspirations, empower pupils, developing their capacity to make informed choices and lead a happy, healthy life.
We embrace diversity, recognise individual needs and encourage all pupils to achieve their best.
High quality teaching ensures we deliver a rich and varied curriculum in an inspiring and creative way. Through their learning pupils become literate and numerate.
