The Cedars Nursery was first opened in 2002, and in that time we have created a warm and welcoming environment where our children can thrive and be enthusiastic about their own learning and development.
We are a large Victorian mansion which is set in its own grounds, we are very fortunate to have extensive fully enclosed, safe and secure, outdoor, space which includes a nature trail, large wooded area and well-kept lawns where the children can learn about the natural environment and enjoy activities on a larger scale which are better suited for the outdoors.

We are a registered charity set up in 1990 in Newcastle upon Tyne, at a time when the North East had the worst levels of child health in the country (Government report Health of the Nation 1990).
