Do you have an autistic child (with or without diagnosis) and need support? Do you live in Newcastle?
As part of the Autism Central programme, Daisy Chain provides a range of in-person learning workshops. These cover many different topics to help support individuals and families.


A friendly and relaxed group to enjoy with your children aged 0 to 5.
For children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Every Wednesday 10am to 11am during term time.
No need to book.



This session targets 5-11 year olds that are d/Deaf, disabled or neurodivergent. The sessions will be:

The coaches have experience to adapt the activity to meet the needs of the group.


The Sensory Shuttle is a mobile sensory room. It provides a safe space to regulate - direct to your door!
Every visit includes advice/support for parents and carers.

We are a small team of massage therapists We specialise in massage therapy for individuals with Special Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). We work with all ages 3 years old+.

Pathways 4 All is a parent-led charity, providing leisure services for children and young people with disabilities/ additional needs (0-25 years old). Our primary service is a specialist play and activity provision, the Tim Lamb Centre (in the grounds of the Rising Sun County Park, Benton). Our centre is open to families from across the North East region.

Molehill Mountain is an app to help autistic people understand and self-manage anxiety.
You can use Molehill Mountain to explore the causes and symptoms of anxiety.

It was developed by Autistica and King's College London. Adults with autism were consulted throughout the development of the app.

Free, safe, confidential support for young people
Children and young people in Newcastle and Gateshead can now get help from mental health counsellors using a free online service supported by the NHS.
Kooth.com is an award-winning online counselling and support service which is now available to all young people in Newcastle and Gateshead aged 11-18 years.


We will nurture each child through their individual learning journey, to develop tolerance, resilience and a thirst for knowledge which will prepare them for the wider world.
What is the service?
NHS England has developed an in school eyecare service for all children in special schools across England.
The service will enable every child to get the most from their vision, including sight test, and the dispensing and fitting of glasses – all completed on the school premises.
