Tree House Family SEND arts and movement activity days offer families a unique experience to play, move and eat together. Specialist Support Staff will be on hand to offer advice and professional artists will deliver quality play, movement and arts and crafts - indoors and outdoors. We work closely with Healthworks who provide free, nutritious food for all attendees at each session.

Northern Cultural Projects fosters community development through inclusive, participatory cultural projects.

Our Family Fun Sessions take place outdoors in our garden spaces. Each session will have a different theme. There will be a mixture of arts & crafts, sport & games and creative play. Children will be provided with a hot, healthy lunch.

Here at HCC we provide a safe space for the children aged 5-10 years to explore and join in with activities that interest them and encourage them to try new activities. We provide a variety of activities including sports, active play, cookery, crafts, imaginative play and drawing. We have 2 large halls and an outdoor playground, which the children are allowed free-flow play in.

We’re excited to let you know that Stomping Grounds North East will be running a Summer Holiday Club at Benwell Nature Park this year for children and young people aged 5-12 and in receipt of benefit-related free school meals. Our sessions will be full of outdoor fun, nature-based play, and exciting activities for children to enjoy in a safe, supportive environment. Access to child-led experiences in nature is proven to support good mental health and well-being.

Come and join us at Scotswood Gardens on Saturday afternoons for our family friendly and inclusive outdoor art, music, movement and exploring sessions! 

Sessions are free, but booking is essential. 

We're outside, so wrap up warm/bring sun cream!

The sessions are tailored at all levels and are delivered by England Boxing Coaches who all have DBS clearance, first aid certificates and are trained in safeguarding and first aid.

Our community coaching team have lots of fun games, quizzes, challenges, indoor and outdoor activities to keep your kids entertained all day. Walker Outdoor Week

Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd July at Stott's Park (East End football club) from 12-3pm. 

Wednesday 23rd, Thursday 24th and Friday 25th July at Walker park (Scrogg Road) from 12-3pm.

Our annual Walker outdoor week consist of 5 days of fun, fitness and friendly activities free of charge to children and young people. The program will be on offer across 2 parks in the East end of the city. 

We are Olympic-style wrestling club located in East End Pool in Byker. We will be having mini wrestling camps for kids and teens this summer on Fridays including lots of games, activities, and healthy food options after from the poolside café.

Every Friday during the summer break (1:30pm-3:30pm kids; 3:30pm-5:30pm teens)
