Young People's Health Concerns

Young People's Health Concerns

You may have concerns about your health

Often, we experience signs and symptoms that may worry us and we are not always sure as to who can help or advise on these.

As teenager you will go through puberty which can raise all sort of concerns. For example problems with spots, self image, body changes etc.  This can be confusing and you may feel that your mood and emotions can vary from day to day.  This is what your GP can help you with.  They can provide advice, support and guidance with any type of issue from physical health to mental/emotional health.  You have the right to make an appointment to see your GP on your own from the age of 14 onwards.

Most GP practices have a young person's section on their website which will provide information on local services.
