Headliners (UK) is a national youth charity that works to empower young people and young to adults to have a voice through a unique journalism programme.  This project is to work young people who are 16-25 from new, emerging and established migrant communities from Tyneside.

• practise English, Maths and ICT

Gain the knowledge and skills needed to work with children and young people in school and college environments.

Staff are on hand to offer advice and guidance, help with C.V.’s, applying for online courses, applying to college, applying for benefits and settled status applications too. There are laptops and P.C.'s and printers available to use. 

We can also support young people with housing issues, apostils, document identity, opening bank accounts, and navigating the universal credit system.

Welcome to Circus Central, Newcastle's finest Circus Arts hub! We bring people of all ages and abilities together to have fun, develop skills, perform, and gain qualifications. At Circus Central, you become part of a thriving community. We offer something for everyone from the curious beginner to the die-hard professional! We're a circus school! You can learn to fly in the air on a trapeze, silks or aerial hoops, do acrobatics, walk on stilts, ride a unicycle, juggle, hula hoop, and more.

Tyneside Outdoors (TO) provides out-of-doors fun activities in and around Tyneside for young people aged 11 - 16 years old.  We meet each week in local parks, playing a range of games and activities and also take part in regular trips and activities at other local places, such as the beach or other countryside spaces.  We also provide bike activities such as BMX, Mountain Biking and bike repair activities.

As the impacts of climate change intensify every year, more and more young people are joining the movement to take action and raise awareness to protect our planet and wildlife.

Eco Influencers provides opportunities for young people aged 10-18 to design and deliver their own environmental social action projects that really make a difference. From outdoor eco classrooms to mindfulness wildlife gardens and recycling campaigns, young people across the region are leading the way. 

How the project works: 

Eco Influencers is a six-month program for young people aged 16-17, offering them the chance to make an impact on their local environment through eco-conscious projects and social action.

Key Details:

The National Saturday Club, 10am - 1pm programme is FREE and has no exams. It offers 13–16-year-olds a unique opportunity to build their skills, develop their confidence, and discover pathways to further study and future careers.
