Cricket club for adults and juniors from 7+ years old.
We are a warm and welcoming club who are always looking for new members. We provide two Saturday XI's playing in the Northumberland and Tyneside Cricket League. Our 3rd XI play midweek cricket in the Northumberland League C Division and we also boast one midweek team in the North East Mid-Week Cricket League.

Start for Life combines the Antenatal and Breastfeeding Support projects. We are a team of practitioners and volunteers working alongside midwives and health visitors to offer additional support to families in Newcastle.

The sporting facilities at Benfield School, part of the Newcastle East mixed multi Academy Trust (NEAT), are used by the pupils through the school day and then the doors open to the community. The community programme is run by two separate organisations that make use of the school site during evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Based in Northumberland, we co-create compelling, dynamic, socially-relevant, and high-quality theatre, film and creative projects - with children, young people, and communities.
Our purpose is to support people to have better quality inter-personal relationships with on another, and to use theatre and drama-based activities as a methodology to achieve this; helping people connect, have fun, learn and grow together.
Referral of Young Person (0-18 years old) Self-referral, referral by a parent, carer, G.P., school or relevant professional.
Single Point of Access (SPA)
The Single Point of Access (SPA) is for young people with a GP in in Newcastle and Gateshead requiring a mental health assessment or intervention.
Referrals will be reviewed and triaged so young people are referred to the right service at the right time for onward assessment and treatment or advice and guidance.
Care to Learn, which was started 20 years ago as part of the Teenage Pregnancy Strategy, continues to provide funding for childcare to help young parents continue in education after the birth of a child. Young parents are defined as those aged under 20 at the date they start their study programme. It can help the young parent with any additional travel costs involved in taking the child to the childcare provider and also provides funding for childcare whilst young parents are on work placements or industry placements, where these are a defined part of the study programme.

In April 2022, Havannah First School was created when Broadway East First School relocated to Newcastle Great Park and changed its name to reflect the new location.
