The sessions are for all young people 13+ and ran by qualified and experienced youth and community workers, we are passionate about listening to the voice of young people to support them to achieve their goals.
Our activities include,


I was a Primary School teacher for 17 years prior to setting up my Child Minding Business in September 2010. I have had experience with all age groups and have also had some Special Needs experience including Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD and Autism.
The whole of the downstairs area is available for Childminding which includes a living room, a large open plan kitchen\dining\conservatory and a large outside area which has a playhouse and is also astro turfed. There is also a downstairs toilet and wash basin.
Activities include the following:-

During group clubs, there are opportunities to
- explore life and relationship issues
- practise life-skills such as planning and organising in a safe environment,
- building self esteem and confidence.

Located near Newcastle city centre, the nursery has been designed to provide a wonderful, child-friend environment with rooms split depending on age group and stage of development. Each room will have direct access to large, well-equipped and challenging gardens which have been designed to suit the age groups that use them.

Using music tech, this session will suit both a complete beginner or knowledgeable musician.
Our intrapartum team care for you during labour and birth.
Suitable for lads aged 10-12 years.
Our FREE sessions are a safe space for young people to come and socialise, learn about the world around them and take part in activities like;
- arts and crafts
- cooking
- gardening
- group games
- sports
The sessions are led by the young people, they choose what they would like to do in their youth clubs and plan their activities. Snacks and drinks are available in all sessions.
A registration form must be filled in for each young person.


We aim to provide and environment that is safe, exciting and nurturing, in a happy surrounding where the children will have the opportunities to develop a positive attitude to learning.
We aim to provide conditions where the children can have fun and develop new skills. We encourage children’s creativity and offer a child centred approach.
Open for children age 0 - 4 years.



We are a holiday club based in the hall at St Catherine's RC Primary School, Sandyford.
The club is open most school holidays from 8am till 6pm, Monday to Friday. It is registered for 45 children aged 3-11 years.
We run a lot of different activities on a daily basis.


Our playgroup is opened in September 2017 for children aged 18 months plus.
We are a small setting based in the grounds of St Catherine's RC Primary School, Sandyford.
We have a lovely room in the school with our own outdoor area.


We provide a friendly , warm and secure environment where children have the opportunity to develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. We pride ourselves in creating an environment that gives children the opportunity to achieve their full potential and prepares them together with their parents for the very important transition into primary school. The happiness, safety and well being of our children is of paramount importance to us.
Ladybird Children's Nursery - Gosforth is registered for children aged 0 - 4 years.
