We provide a forum for service users and carers at George Street Social in Newcastle. The forum is an opportunity to chat and to raise any issues that you may have. It also provides a supportive place for peer led activities, training, volunteer opportunities, advocacy, and mentoring.

The Children and Families Act 2014 requires each local authority in England to appoint at least one person for the purpose of discharging the local authority’s duty to promote the educational achievement of its Looked After Children (LAC) and Young People (LAYP). The Community Treatment Team provides an assessment and treatment service for people who are experiencing difficulty with their mental health.

The team is made up of a number of health care professionals.  The Community Treatment Team provides a service for men and women over the age of 18 years who require a period of assessment and treatment.
