Gambling Harm Prevention Workshops for Young People
Gambling Harm Prevention Workshops for Young People
The English Gambling Education Hub (EGEH) is a free, collaborative programme between seven partners, to support organisations, families and professionals working with young people. The hub will provide clear, consistent and quality information, support and education around gambling harms and young people; delivered via their Digital portal 'EduGam' and Network events.
GamCare is the leading provider of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling-related harm.
What do our workshops offer?
- Young people will gain knowledge and awareness in order to make informed choices about gambling.
- Young people will understand the impact of harmful gambling, and recognise the signs of gambling-related harm in themselves or others.
- Young people will know where and how to access support if they are experiencing gambling-related harm.
GamCare offers FREE one-hour interactive awareness workshops for young people aged 11-19, delivered by our highly skilled education and training leads.
Workshops are ideal for school lessons, assemblies and other types of youth-focused sessions.
