First Words Together

Brand new programme that helps families support the early communication and language development of their one-year-olds.

Five weekly sessions that include evidence-based, fun activities and five top tips to support communication that parents can easily repeat in the home.

Free books to take home from each session, carefully selected to be diverse, age appropriate and to promote interaction.

Riverside Community Health Project have started delivering the programme as ongoing session for the next 3 years.

Children North East operate the First Words Together groups at the Cowgate Centre for Inner West. These are a short play session for under 2's to learn to talk and communicate. 

All children will receive 5 free toddler books for participating.
