Start for life – first 1001 days

The first 1,001 days of a baby’s life are a really important time. This is from conception, all through pregnancy, until your child turns two years old. Babies learn lots in their first two years of life, and there is a lot to learn as a new parent too. It can feel overwhelming, lonely and difficult at times, but there is support available. You can chat to your midwife, or your health visitor. You can attend groups at your local Children and Families Newcastle Hub and meet other parents.

Giving you and your baby the best start, lays the foundations for your future together.
